Heaven

In this one sacred moment
I am thinking about nothing on Earth
- as it is in heaven.
I feel nothing but a breeze lifting my hair.
I hear nothing but bird songs near and far
and the low shushing of the leaves
moving against each other.
It is a pleasing, singular void,
a reverie of quietude
when every sense is stilled
except for God.

Wow that is so deep! Some how, I missed that you were a Special Ed Teacher. That is wonderful. Teachers have a special place in my heart but that is even that much better. No wonder you have such a great insight hear.

Oh, that's just lovely. :-)

Thanks for taking me away from my desk and putting me in the hammock in my back yard for a minute.

Congrats to you, too!

Thank you for coming to visit me; I'm glad we share eclectic strains of faith together! Your poem is beautiful. Seeing it and the painting below show what a talented woman you are! I hope we'll keep on visiting each other and grow to know each other better.
