Stella in the Snow

Stella bounded out this morning for her usual sniff-fest - but finding the scents covered in snow, and having a little trouble navigating the drifts - she decided to hang out under a table where the snow wasn't quite as deep.

Unlike my dog, who buried his nose in the snow and ran around the yard in search of whatever scent he could detect. Came in covered in snowballs. They love this weather, too. Nice picture of Stella!

What a GREAT picture, my dear.....Dear Stella must have been quite shocked to find no smells.....It looks like you are having a BIG Winter...Much Snow!!!

It is interesting about Lana T. It seems she almost felt her career was over after the Horror Show of Stompanato....So, "IMITATION OF LIFE" and that dear man Ross Hunter persuing her about it till she finally gave in---Brought her back, in a Big Big way....
I met Ross and Jacque Mapes, Ross' partner in life and in work, in the early 90's.....they were such true TRUE Gentlemen.....from a different time in our business.....Both of them had wonderful careers, both together and seperately, too....I admired them both more than I can say.....Both men are gone now....Ross having died first and then Jacque, about six or seven years later...(I could be off on the timing of that....)
But the point is...THEY brought Lana Turner back to Films, in a Big Big way, and also gave her financial security she might not have had....! They were decent caring generous men. Very Very Charitable, too!
