Have we gone too far??

As I looked out at the view from my dad's hospital room I couldn't seem to find one natural creation beyond the one little tree on the right - I wondered - have we gone too far?
He who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited. Isaiah 45:18

Is your dad okay? I had a similar view from MY dad's hospital window last August. Except my husband's place of work (an insurance company) was at the other end of the parking lot.
We're fortunate that there is a good deal of green space in our city.

I see what you mean! I do not know the answer. I live in one of the fastess growning cities in the states. A few weeks ago I was just driving around the area and making note of changes.

I guess I feel a little more aware when I do that. I got lost in a neighborhood I totally knew only 2 years ag! To tell the truth it was a tad disorienting. I wonder too Diane

Hope your dad is okay... And why do hospitals keep getting bigger and bigger?

it makes me think of THE LORAX or the story about the little house that got buried with big buildings, left abandoned until someone came and moved the house back out to where there was green land left.

sad but true.

I hope your dad is doing better.

I hope he'll be okay, Diane. In any event, he'll be in my prayers.

They take paradise and they put up a parking lot.

Just be glad it wasn't at the Cleveland Clinic, at least nature wise. Now if I wanted some of the best medical care around I would be happy to be at the clinic.

We are very fortunate to have so many fine medical facilities here in Northeast Ohio.

Yes, I think so.

Aren't Bible verses usually accurate when considered in context with the surrounding material? I mean, I guess if you read the Bible, you would say that it is all accurate but, it's that the best reading... to look at it as more of a whole?
