SKYWATCH FRIDAY - For the Birds

Oh, give the birds a resting place
in your private silhouette.
Surrounded in peachy-pink dusk,
formidable in the sunset.
Oh, give the birds a refuge
to tuck a head under a wing.
In your long and sturdy arms
they'll awaken again to sing.

Now you know I love the birds and poetry, so this is a perfect post to me. Your poem expresses what I feel about trees. I feel the longing and the prayer in them.

Beautiful photo (love the colors) and a beautiful poem. Would that we all had such an embracing sanctuary during the passage of our nights.

Very very pretty! The colors are so soft and the tree in silhouette is very graceful.
