This is beautiful Diane. Normal Rockwell lived a few hours from my home. I love going to his hometown and seeing the place he left behind. What an amazing artist.

Regardless of the good we all may hope for. In light there is no darkness. The truth is that the koran teaches hatred and that the submission or beheading of those who will not submit to the islamic belief is among the goals. Qur'an:9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." Qur'an:8:39 "So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world)."

I also live in a place, not far from where Rockwell lived. I know of three local people who were models for his work a long time ago.
